Ipswich Football

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 7 August 2026.

Ipswich Football (ipswichfootball.co.uk) is an unofficial, independently run fan site. This page explains what happens to your data when you visit — it applies UK GDPR and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).

Data controller

The site is operated by Sebastian Hart. For any privacy question or request, contact sebhartdev@gmail.com — see also the contact page.

Analytics and tracking

At launch, this site uses no analytics, tracking pixels, or advertising cookies. No personal browsing data is collected or shared by the site itself.

Cookies

The site does not currently set any cookies. If that changes — for example, if the site joins an advertising network such as Google AdSense to help cover running costs — this section will be updated first, and a cookie consent banner will ask for your choice before any non-essential cookie is set, in line with PECR and UK GDPR. Any future advertising partner's own privacy policy will be linked here too.

Hosting and server logs

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which, like any web host, processes standard connection information (such as IP address and request timestamps) to serve pages and protect against abuse. This is handled under Cloudflare's own privacy policy — see cloudflare.com/privacypolicy. No such logs are accessed by, or shared with, this site's operator beyond Cloudflare's standard dashboard aggregates.

External links

Pages on this site link out to third parties — including ESPN, BBC Sport, TWTD, Wikipedia, and the official club site. Following a link takes you to that site's own privacy policy and practices, which this policy does not cover.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port any personal data held about you, and to object to how it's processed. As this site currently collects no personal data of its own, there is normally nothing to act on — but if you believe otherwise, or have any other privacy question, email sebhartdev@gmail.com and it will be dealt with promptly. You may also lodge a complaint with the UK's Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes to this policy

Any change to what data is collected — most likely when advertising is added — will be reflected here, with the "last updated" date above revised accordingly.
